Cupping / Blood Letting Cupping
Traditional cupping and bloodletting cupping use negative pressure to expel stagnation and promote the flow of blood and Qi, clearing meridian blockages.

TCM cupping applies negative pressure to the skin using cups, helping the body expel wind, cold, dampness and heat by promoting blood and Qi flow and clearing meridian stagnation.
Bloodletting cupping (wet cupping) goes further, using a sterile lancet to allow a small amount of stagnant blood to leave the body — drawing out heat, stasis and toxins. Bloodletting should only be performed by qualified TCM physicians, and is not suitable for those who are anaemic, pregnant, on anticoagulants, or immunocompromised.
